Veterinarian
Are you looking for the freedom of working for a privately owned practice, located in the beautiful Kettle Moraine forest? The Kewaskum Veterinary Clinic, Inc. has a full- time associate veterinarian position available in Kewaskum, WI.
We are a busy small animal practice located in the small community of Kewaskum, just 5 miles North of West Bend, WI. We strive to be the place to grow our professional careers while providing superb customer service and patient care. We have a full, in house, diagnostic lab that is fully integrated with our Idexx reference lab and our Cornerstone software. In addition we have digital radiography, endoscopy, and laser therapy.
Veterinarian responsibilities include: excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, problem solving, organization, compassion, attention to detail, staff delegation, multitasking and ability to provide general practice diagnostics and surgery. Alternative medicine knowledge is a plus, but not required. We see our wellness and sick pet appointments in 45 minute time slots, including several 45-minute, “day of slots”, built in the schedule for urgent and emergency appointments, daily for each doctor.
Qualified applicants will receive a base salary along with production based bonuses. Bonuses are paid monthly with no negative accrual. Doctors rotate one Saturday every four weeks during which we see appointments from 9:00am – 12:00pm. Certified Veterinary Technician

This new position is being developed and fine-tuned, and the ideal candidate would have prior HR experience. As the HR Assistant will be working with the Hospital Administrator in ensuring smooth HR operations by working closely with the doctors, staff, and clients. Job Shadowing
The Kewaskum Veterinary Clinic staff loves inspiring the minds and hearts of our young community by offering a unique opportunity to job shadow. This offer has been so popular that we have to set up a schedule and some limitations so that all the eager minds get the same opportunity. We allow job shadowing Monday-Fridays from 8 AM until Noon. We can accommodate up to two job shadows daily. Each person can shadow up to one day per week. This schedule is filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. You MUST be of at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18 years of age, a disclaimer from must be filled out and signed by your guardian before your date of shadowing. NOTE: It is a privilege to come and observe the skills of our team. Due to confidentiality laws, we have to ask that you do not discuss client/patient names and status outside of the clinic, to protect their confidentiality.
The day of:
- We ask that if shadows have a cell phone, they keep it on silent during their stay.
- We ask that the shadows have on scrubs and no open-toed shoes.
- If you have tattoos or piercings, please cover them up or remove them.
- If you have long hair, please have it tied up neatly.
- We ask you NOT to wear perfumes or body sprays.
- We encourage participation and questions, but we ask that random chatter between shadows be kept at a minimum.
- Picture taking must be Okayed by a doctor or staff. We have to respect the confidentiality of our patients and clients.
